If Windows shows a warning when opening the app, click More info and then Run anyway. That is normal for a new unsigned app.

Step 1: Install VB-CABLE

Download VB-CABLE from the official site: VB-CABLE Download Page

Step 2: Set up Discord

  1. Open Discord and go to User Settings.
  2. Open Voice & Video.
  3. Set Input Device to CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable).
  4. Set Output Device to your normal headset or speakers.
  5. Turn on Push-toTalk.
  6. Set the Push-toTalk keybind to F9.

Step 3: Run VoicesByTribal

  1. Download and unzip VoicesByTribal-v0.1-win-x64.zip. See above
  2. Run VoicesByTribal.exe.
  3. Choose a phrase or macro and test it.

Optional: Add More Windows Voices

VoicesByTribal uses the voices installed on your computer. You can install additional voices through Windows settings.

  1. Open Settings in Windows.
  2. Go to Time & Language.
  3. Click Language & Region.
  4. Click Add a language.
  5. Search for and select a language (I like English (Australia)).
  6. Click Next, then make sure Text-to-Speech is selected.
  7. Click Install.
After installation, restart VoicesByTribal and the new voice (such as the Australian voice) should appear in your voice list.

This app is currently intended for a small personal use case and may change over time.
